Squares are my recent love as they are easy to cut and sew up fast. I used to think that they are boring but I was wrong. I like tiny squares - 1", 1.5" and 2.5" and have problem storing them by colours. I could not find a storage box that can fit my requirement - either too expensive or the size is just not right.
Until I chanced upon these small chilled lunchboxes from Daiso the other day. The intended usage is for food storage in the fridge - 3 and 4 compartments. It comes with a cover too.

The trays could be stacked up to save space.

My problem is solved. Now I need to buy more from Daiso. The green tray is just nice for 1.5" squares while the orange is for 1" squares.
So how do you store your squares? Share with us if you have. :)
I have to say that's a great idea! I usually store small pieces of fabric not sorted, between some larger fabrics. But that makes problems with finding favourite little piece... I should try this! :)
